We are living in unprecedented times. We are in struggle. And yet, we are resilient and we are in community. We still have - and will continue to hold - the power of the collective to navigate unchartered waters.
In this spirit, IDHA is organizing a series of Community Care Calls to help our immediate and wider community navigate the period of crisis and opportunity brought on by COVID-19. These calls will enable us to gather virtually while we are not able to be geographically and physically present. Crucially, we also seek to hold space for, and integrate the voices of, those who are not able to join us on Zoom due to a lack of access to technology that many of us take for granted.
Our call on Monday, March 23rd will consist of: a community check-in; a micro/macro skill share; time to break into small groups to develop reflective questions that we can send out to our community to prepare for our Open Mic on March 30; time to gather resources and create a poetry/song/art resource to inspire our community; and more.
